On this CD, you are asked to add together numbers that add up as small as 145 and as big as 1,000.

Add a Big Number to a Small Number

You add a big number to a small number. The small number is in the range of 1 to 12.

Sums Are 1,000 or Less

The big number that you add to a small number is over 100 but under 1,000. Sometimes the big number comes first. Sometimes, the small number comes first.

Example Addition

For example, you are asked to add 523 + 8, together. You are also asked to add 4 + 422 together. 523 + 8 = 531. 4 + 422 = 426.
